This is a pretty slick deal. These are normally 1400 and up.I was saving up for a kayak but I might have to grab one these. No sales tax in VA either.

When it comes to purchasing things I'm into value first, and the rest of it comes a distant second. I'm not putting my hard earned toward something that I can get for less elsewhere at the same quality. That said I love you "boycott SA" guys for driving the prices down and getting me rock bottom pricing on some quality guns. As far as I'm concerned Illinois politics works a certain way, SA knows that, and they made the best decision they could. Do you honesty think they have a chance of politically winning in the state run by Chicago? Come out of the clouds man.

Except they're based in SC, yet collect tax for NV purchases...

He means that "SA", being Springfield Armory, is out of Illinois. He's not referencing Palmetto State Armory as being out of Illinios.

Supreme court ruled a wayfair decision to tax online out of state purchases. Its BS I know...

Well said. This is the first armory established in the U.S. And by none other than G. Washington. This is a company steeped in tradition employing a large number of blue collar Americans. Two of them being my sister and brother in law. They are a good American company. If you boycott them your hurting hard working Americans. Your WILL not be hurting the Reese family. I can assure you of that. On a side note how many people "boycotting" Springfield have ever done anything to further our freedoms against gun control. I can tell you over a dozen of my friends (including me) attended the NRA annual meeting in Atlanta and yes they all (most) work at Springfield. They were there protecting our liberties on their own dime. I can also tell you they spend over 4 weeks a year on capital hill each year lobbying against gun control. I wish people would think things through and wake up. Stop "boycotting" and go do something for your country. Somwtimes I'm embarrassed to be an American. Oh and how many times has Springfield won the golden bullseye?

Boycott Springfield it's just that simple

A SOCOM and an EMP were on my list of guns to buy this year. But SA is dead to me now. I am not buying Reese's BS claim they were misinformed. They knew exactly what the IFMA was doing on their behalf. It's bad enough they didn't stand against it, but now to try and convince us they didn't know what was going on, is an insult to our intelligence. I stand with the Mom & Pop dealers and the gun owners SA betrayed.

Are you keeping up with current events and what's going on with this? Or are going off content written and passed around a month ago. If you have done your research on this topic and have this opinion cool. If your one of those idiots that see a headline or worse get told something at the water cooler at work than post ignorant reteric than please learn to think for yourself. You know which one of this people you are.

No. Actually Tayar, I try to think for myself. I am keeping cool and seeing exactly what is going on before actually burning down SA. My post was sarcastic, and was showing others how silly they are being. Just like this post

UrinalMint-It's a little late. Screw Springfield & Rock River

Peeps like this remind me how Democrats have been acting just after their Queen Hillary lost the election. I have said we need to let SA come clean and fix this. But some morons would rather lose a gun company rather than give them a chance. Even the NRA is standing by SA to fight this horrible law. Especially since SA supports the NRA with cash. If you can find or know of the stance the NRA has with SA, please share that info. Because I can find no news on the subject.

But again, I will wait to see how SA handles this escapade before buying or not buying any more SA weapons. I know many of these people on here are just SA haters. Saying their weapons are $hit. Well, we all know how great their weapons are. If people have a gripe with SA, they should contact them on the matter just as I have.

Do Not buy anything from Springfield Armory or Rock River Arms! These two Illinois companies gave their soul to the devil when they caved in to Illinois politicians and gave their support to a Illinois law that will restrict the guns right of the citizens of Illinois. These two companies are scum.

The Make America A Greater Racist Deep State will not gain control of every American. Springfield and Rock River Arms are vastly greater for America than every Drumpt voter and the most racist in chief American president in decades. Springfield and Rock River Arms are interested in restricting the 2nd Amendment, but still are better than you stupid racist followers of the chief racist of America.

Yes I agree. I love mine. Changed out the sights to get ride of the way too wide front post. But if mounting a red dot or other optic, not an issue.

It's considered "featureless", no mag lock (bullet button) needed, since there are no "evil" features (pistol grip, flash hider, collapsible stock), Rifle Gear in Fountain Valley, CA sells them. Good price!

I got one too, but when I called, they had over 60 in stock.

Sadly, I believe you are mistaken on California compliance. CA castrated guns must use a tool to remove the mag. Nothing like that here. (Thankfully for most). Now if only there was a good ammo deal on 308

this is CA legal, all of their socom models and scout models that include 10 rd or less magazines are CA legal "out the box" due to no pistol grip nor flash hider. I wouldn't type this if i wasnt 100% sure

Called this morning and was told this IS a California compliant model even though the model number doesn't reflect it and it isn't mentioned anywhere in the ad. I was also told they have 10 in stock.... Well at most 9 now :)
