It's a "lemon squeeze" similar to the 1911's / grip safety. I haven't shot one of these but i did purchase the wife one of the shield plus super 30's. Picked it up for around $225 including the rebate + a discount. The ammo is a little higher but isn't terribly expensive, got 1000 rounds of the brass fmj blazers for about 37 cents a round and grabbed a few boxes of the hornady critical defense for around $1.50ish.
It's a great little "get off me gun". Has been very reliable & accurate. It shoot's well. Initially i was going to pick one up as well but ended up going with the bodyguard 2.0. To be honest, I prefer the shield plus super 30 over the bodyguard 2.0. The shield plus also has an optic cut. It's an alternative to consider anyhow
So, basically GIVING the 30 Super Carry away... Lol... Who didn't see this one coming... Industry shoulda learned after .327 Federal... Yikes.
Any takers?? Maybe a scarce reloader or two?? Nah, didn't think so.... Whoever's the last to leave, please turn off the lights... Thanks... Goodnight. LOL
Looking at that backstrap: is that a grip safety, or is this a squeeze-cocker like the HK P7? I don't mind about the oddball caliber: at that price point, if the pistole is half-decent, I'll happily buy up a bunch of brass and reload to my heart's content. Of course, it will have to wait til I escape from the PRK gulag or Saint Benitez invalidates CA's B.S. handgun list...
