Return of the Model 19 Classic. The Smith & Wesson Classics series of revolvers have been enhanced with modern internal components, but mimic the look and feel of classic models. The Model 19 Classic revolver features a handsome set of walnut grips, a 4.25″ barrel, a black adjustable rear sight, and red ramp front sight. The revolver dons a highly polished, blued finish and traditional thumbpiece for a classic look.

Beautiful - however, nope. I've purchased 4 new S&W wheel guns over the past 6-years. Only ONE didn't have to go back to the factory due to dead trigger, timing, etc. issues. (more)
On the other hand: I have an immaculate '71 Model 19. Candy cane trigger, perfect timing, absolute BEAUT. If you like revolvers, I strongly encourage you to look at older model Smiths. I paid less than this for my Model 19, it was made in 1971, is insanely accurate, has no issues, cost about $150 less, practically unused. There ARE deals to be had, if you don't just look on GunBroker.
I collect (on a very small level) Smith revolvers. I have 4 models now - all EXCELLENT. All pre-1989. Not saying that's the year they "went bad" that's just how it shook out. That said: Seriously - look at "like new" older models over this new one. You'll never convince me QC spent more time looking at this than my model from '71. No friggin way.
