Compact, sleek and ergonomic, the M&P BG380 pistol benefits from new fish scale serrations on the rear of the slide for ease of use and like other M&P pistols, ships complete with two magazines. Chambered for .380 ACP, the lightweight sub-compact pistol features a high-strength polymer frame with a black, maximum corrosion resistant coated stainless steel slide and barrel. The new M&P BG380 is standard with a 2 ¾ inch barrel, which contributes to an overall length of 5 ¼ inches and an unloaded weight of only 11.85 ounces. Additional standard features include a rapid second-strike capability, thumb safety, take-down lever and stainless steel drift adjustable sights.

Fiddle sticks. This gun is not meant for any accuracy on the range.
It's a get the hell up off me gun. For up close and personal experiences. This gun is meant for when you see the whites of their eyes situations. I mean what type of accuracy do you think you would get from such a small form factor gun anyways.
15' or 5 yards s/b reasonable for this gun. Have your lady shoot one before you buy her one. Unless she's got man hands you'll see what I mean. Supposedly there's a pretty cheap trigger kit I'm checking out now that helps a lot.
There's a reason these are so cheap. I bit because "it was too good to refuse," good concealment potential and the wife's hands are small. I wish I hadn't acted on the impulse because the gun is a cheap little POS IMO and the trigger pull is so long & heavy she sure can't get any degree of accuracy with it. I should have used the money towards a sig P238 if I was going to buy a 380 or better yet tried to get her used to a P938 or at least the Shield 9mm which is a decent little gun for the current prices (but still very bad trigger). Oh well, it's hard having a gun habit.
Only gun I've ever sold, this thing is absolutely terrible. The p238 is 2x as much $$, but 100x better.

PSA has some great deals from time to time. Of course they come with baggage. If you need to talk to customer service be prepared to sit on hold for 20 minutes to an hour. (2 separate calls to fix a screw up on their "compliance department's part".) First was right at 1 hour waiting to speak to someone. Second was 20 minutes to verify they had the issue corrected.
They definitely need to hire some more employees for the customer support and shipping departments.
Just bought mine for $199 and I thought that was a steal.

Will buy when drops to 200. With BG 2 available for 330 this doesn't make any sense
