At first this pistol was very dissatisfying as it pulled the bullet out of the factory mag tech ammo I was running. Did my own reloads change the wood grip out, And it’s fun to shoot. Nice and light weight. I would buy it again.

It's an ok gun. GLOCK is making some sweet speed clips for most resolvers in the near future. might even get one then

These scandium frames are very light, but that's the problem. There's no heft to absorb some of the recoil so it goes right into your hand. Just be forewarned that this may be a great carry pistol, but not so much for a range pistol.

...comes w/ 2 sets of grips: wood(shown), synthetic (rubber). The synthetic ones are good enough, don't need Hogues.

I love these 44 mag pd's, but I suggest getting some hogue rubber grips immediately if you plan on shooting this much, trust me. Your hands will thank you later

Price drop .... wow. I sure don't need this ... but I sure do _want_ this.

I'm close to ordering this for a whitetail hunting pistol. Lugging around 24oz compared to ~50oz is pretty nice. Wish they made this in a 6" barrel though.

Shoot some hot Buffalo Bore ammo out of that S&W using the wood grips. You'll change to the rubber grips shortly after regaining use of your hand.
