Description
The modern SIG story started with the P220, and the P220R keeps that legend rolling. Built on a stout alloy frame with a Nitron®-coated stainless slide machined from barstock, this full-size .45 Auto mixes proven DA/SA ergonomics with modern features — optics-ready cut in Deltapoint/RMR pattern, SIGlite® Day/Night sights, an ergonomic E2 one-piece polymer grip, and two 8-round steel magazines. If you want a .45 that’s accurate out of the box and built to last, this one’s worth the saddle time.
The SIG SAUER P220R is a full-size .45 ACP designed for shooters who want classic pistol balance with modern adaptability. It pairs a Nitron® stainless slide (front & rear serrations) to a durable black-anodized alloy frame with an integrated accessory rail and beavertail. The P220R ships optic-ready (Deltapoint/RMR pattern) and includes SIGlite® Day/Night sights for quick acquisition in all light. With DA/SA operation and SIG’s Safe-Return Trigger (SRT) enhancements, you get a controllable double-action first pull and a crisp single-action follow-up. Comes with two 8-round steel magazines and a platform built to earn its keep.
Safety note: This model includes a manual safety. A manual safety augments — but does not replace — safe firearms handling. Always follow safe handling practices and never rely solely on mechanical safeties.

It seems to be wrong. The Elite should be cut if it’s from 2024 or later. However, all the searches I did with this UPC had images without the cut. The images look like my Nitron. Anyone buying this should probably contact the seller to be sure.

The picture must be wrong since the description says it is optics ready. I certainly don't see an optics plate. Maybe I am blind? Awesome pistols though!
