Now that's one way to give a middle finger to the restricted, communist states like California. Sure beats those odd grip blocking devices. Although thinking for a second, I wonder if these can be had in those states due to the removable magazine? I am not certain if they allow such a thing or not. I mean do they allow hunting rifles with removable mags? If so then this should certainly be considered as such. IDK but it's actually a really neat setup and could fill many roles, especially once you start down the rabbit hole of accessories...

Jupp, this is CA legal. I got one in 7.62x39, and it's excellent.

I think the threaded bbl is enough to make it non-compliant. I'm not up on the latest to date CA regs either...
..

But I live in a non-commie state so interests me. Our so-called "conservative" elected officials here are busy pretending to worship trump, profit-grafting, and generally ruining everything. I might actually move to the west coast when I retire... Or crazey ass Florida, we'll see.

I made fun of it relentlessly. At this price I’ll buy one of these and actually shoot it and just have fun with it, and there’s nothing wrong with that. The P365 is a decent little pistol too, and that sweetened the deal for me.

I made fun of them too because who the hell wants to buy it for 3,000 freaking dollars but this is definitely a more realistic price

Sell the P365

Useless when u can buy a 556 in ar platform for under 400. The ruger mini 14 is my pick over this any day that ends in "Y"

Why would you pick the mini 14 lmao, you can get a good ar for cheaper

The Mini 14 is over priced and inherently inaccurate. A $400 budget AR-15 aren't as accurate, has MIM parts kits, worse mil spec triggers, less durable barrels, have DI gas systems (MCX-R is piston driven), don't have an adjustable gas systems, so on and so forth. They are $400 for a reason and aren't the equivalent.

Buy the regulator than. I guess that's why the Ruger Mini-14 has such popularity and everybody should talk to regulator like garbage.
Iron sights out past 250 yards is hardly inaccurate for me. The 365 is nice. The only thing this is good for is if you wanted to Frankenstein a true MCX with an AR Lower and a folder

The Mini 14 isn't a hot seller, and it has always had, to this very day, a reputation for not being a very accurate rifle especially compared to the AR platform even from those who like and own them. There are also literally live side by side accuracy videos between an AR vs Mini 14 that prove this point and what expected MOA the Mini is capable of with good ammo.

Other than that, I don't want either rifle. I'm just starting objective facts, while you're responding emotionally because I said some critical things about a rifle you're fond of. I'm not even saying that the Mini one is a bad platform that can't serve the purpose of a ranch gun or for self defense. I am objectively saying that feature for feature, modularity vs modularity, ergonomics vs ergonomics, and accuracy vs accuracy, the MCX-R Regulator is the better platform and rifle on paper and behind the trigger. In the case of this ad, the MCX-R Regulator is even the better deal.

"The Mini 14 isn't a hot seller"

LOL....it's only be selling for 52 years.

"inherently inaccurate"....."compared to the AR platform"

AR's (Under $1000 especially) also have "a reputation for not being a very accurate rifle." Plus the accuracy difference between the two is negligible inside of 300 yards. Mini 14's tend to be 2 MOA at 100 yards, most sub $1000 AR's about 1 MOA. That's a difference of 1" at a football field. No one in their right mind is buying either gun for tiny shot groups and either can hit a man-sized target without any issue at that range. If you are trying to shoot beyond that, get a $300 bolt gun to put either to shame. You aren't going to be shooting 30 round magazines AND worried about stacking holes in paper over long distances. And why the heck would you even get a 16" barrel for shooting .223 / 5.56 at that range? 20"+ if you want full powder burn (aka....AcCuRaCy)

Seriously, none of the above (AR, Mini-14, or MCX-R) should be on your top 10 list for "accurate" .223 / 5.56's.

And much hotter seller than this piece of s*** that they have to clearance out at 30% off its price to be able to sell it and give you a free gun. Mini rain Supreme over this gun and is super accurate up to a 300 yards which is what it's intended for if you're trying to kill shot a mile sure you're in the wrong Market. You must work for Ruger cuz everybody else is in the same mind frame as overpriced piece of s***

I'd be pissed if I bought this and paid $3k.

Even with this massive price slash, you could buy a Colt AR15 and a Glock 43x for the same price--which is a much better choice than this.

The Glock 43 isn't better than the P365 nor is it as popular or sells more. Nothing wrong with Colts and they will probably hold value more; however, the MCX-R Regulator is a higher quality piston driven rifle fit and finish and components wise than a mil spec Colt. It will run cooler and cleaner than a Colt.

You are obviously retarded (wait, its autistic now), and likely don't own a single firearm. U Just jump in and shit talk others comments whole speaking of objectivity with every wrong comment and try to get a response. Well here it is.. Get a life.

Looks like at the ~$3000 price Sig has not been selling too many of these

On the other hand, with a "free" P365, this is a pretty good deal
