The Sig Sauer M400-Tread chambered in 5.56NATO is an advanced AR platform rifle featuring a 16" stainless steel barrel with a with a 3-prong flash hider, 1:8 twist, and lightweight free-floating M-LOK handguard. The direct impingement Tread uses a reliable, recoil taming mid-length gas system paired with a SIG Matchlite 2 Stage Trigger which reduces the weight of the pull to break crisp and clean at approximately 5lbs for for unmatched control and extreme accuracy. The M400 includes ergonomic features such as an ambidextrous safety on the lower receiver for right or left-handed operation and an integrated QD mount for easy sling attachment. A 6-Position MAGPUL SL-K telescoping stock allows for easy adjustment and a customized fit. The Tread is ideal for a wide array of uses from tactical applications to competitive shooting and hunting. this rifle is chambered to accommodate both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO rounds.
