Xd mod3 can be bought for 250 - exactly the same price as posted. But xd is built like a tank, having a Glock like or better reliability, huge track record and Military and police use. Whereas this clone has none of this. I would consider this for 150-200, not more. Absolutely no reason to buy this for 250 for which you can have a full fledged reliable service pistol - Springfield xd mod 3
If you want built like a tank, exhaustively tested and shown more reliable than a Glock, for under $200, you need to go with a SAR 9 at Palmetto. Its not another clone other than having similiar size and being 9mm SA
Based on what personal experience, exactly?
Because I have this exact pistol for my bedside — it’s been 100% reliable in operation for more than two years and a few thousand rounds, takes well-designed P226 mags, comes RMR cut and can be upgraded to a threaded barrel for like $70. Swappable grip panels, flared mag well and good irons too. Shoots soft, and bar none is the best trigger I’ve ever tried in a striker-9. Better than the CZ P10c, IMHO.
I get that you like your Springfield (which is Croatian, by the way), but I’d be caught dead spending money on a striker fired pistol with a **grip safety** in the year of our lord 2026. I’ve shot an XD-M and the Tisaş is better all around, even before you consider the money.
You need to do a little research, The PX-9 Duty is reliable, enough to be an actual duty weapon for police and military customers around the world. The world is bigger than just the USA. The trigger is the best Striker Fired handgun in my collection, where the XD has more of a glockish trigger, mush city. The customizable grip panels make it the most comfortable in my collection too. SDS imports isn't a clone manufacturer despite the impression this listing gives, Its a Tisas product, imported by SDS
Not everyone's cup of tea, but check out Honest Outlaw's review of the Gen3... quite high praise for reliability and the trigger (not one of the XD's strong points).
The PX-9 has seen notable duty use, including Turkish Customs, the Philippines National Police, the Philippines Army, and unnamed agencies in Romania, Bulgaria, and Poland.
Of note for anyone looking at this particular deal, this is the IO (Irons Only) model, and not optics-ready... the OR model drops below $300 pretty regularly.
