First of all, why are you exagerating prices? That is like saying 'Don't like this $13,900 Hyundai, then go buy a $100,000 Porshe! I paid about $200 for my Mossberg 500 24 years ago. Still shoots like brand new. Any gunsmith in the country either has parts for it or can get them. Can you say the same for this gun? Even a Maverick, which is one of the best CHEAP shotguns ($190) makes this look like a pile of $hit. And you can buy parts/upgrades for it on ebay every day. If this gun breaks, I guess you just throw it away. Spending a bit more on an American shotgun that will be more reliable and can actually be repaired by any gunsmith is well worth the extra. The 88 has a one year warranty and also service in the US for service after that period. The Mossberg has a 10 year warranty. If you are big enough to buy a gun, you are big enough to make your own decisions. But it would be foolish to ignore advice from those who have bought guns like this and found out the hard way how a 'good deal' doesn't look as good when it breaks.

Beretta A300 parts are drop in replacements for everything but the op rod and spring. Getting parts isn't difficult.

And if someone was dead set on a semi-auto shotgun, you can pick up a Mossberg 930 for around $500. Be patient and save up the money and you'd have a far better weapon than this plastic toy. Added bonus: the Mossy is Made in the USA!

You're right! $415 or so at grabagun. Just bought one from them for (4+1 shot) $360 and added a $45 5-shell mag (9+1 shot). Excellent shotgun!

Bro, 0% of my firearms are made in China, and I plan to keep it that way.

The really bad thing, China will probably surpass us in quality one day. THAT is scary! Remember when Made in Japan and Made in Korea was garbage? Now they are top of the line electronics. You just don't see made in America on electronics anymore. Even the XBOX is made in China! So far, none of my guns were made in China either! But about 75% of the other crap in my house is!

I know you're a troll account but I can tell you from frustrating experience that China has a long way to go. I'm rooting for their success in general (not that they pass us up) but no matter what I root they're not aiming for the stars like Japan.

Are you guys kidding with this one? No mention of chokes = potentially dangerous, 2-3/4in chamber, faux wood stock?? The Hatfield sas12 is a much better gun for maybe $100 more: all the chokes you need included, 3in chamber, REAL WOOD.

How does no mention of chokes make it potentially dangerous? It's a fixed full choke.

Your barrel exploding from trying to fire a slug out of it thinking it's a cylinder choke? Probably wouldn't blow up anyways but consensus is it's a bad idea

You're right it won't blow up. Says right on the box of Remington rifled slugs that you can shoot them in any choke safely but improved cyl is best for accuracy.

Yep. Same with a Mossberg. And the gunsmith won't die laughing if you need to take it in for repair.

Hard to beat this deal. I ordered two. The plastic is solid and looks just as good as any other plastic furniture. Thought about painting it flat black or camo but I think I will leave it for now. Mags fit tight and release well. The gun is solid. Have had some problems with cycling with buckshot but slugs seem to cycle well. Hopefully once it gets broke in it will be better. Still think it is well worth the money.

Mine runs great with high brass. Has not broke in enough to cycle heavy dove loads yet. Fun to shoot. Nothing fancy or pretty about it.

I use to have to push up on the mag while I shot it to get it to funtion smoothly or it jam every feed otherwise. Never had a mag feed smoothly, and at the time...about 3 years ago mags were nowhere to be found. It was fun to shoot when I could get it to cycle tho. Sold it for$200 on Armslist!

This is a different batch than the ones for sale a few years ago. They changed the mag design. The two guns and four mags I just got run good, no jams at all so far.

Complete shit, 3 round magazine is a joke. I'll stick with my FN SLP with 8 rounds. But keep supporting communist China and their shitty craftsmanship.

I wouldn't say China has shitty craftsmanship. There are many plants in China that do fine work. Japan and Korea used to be labels of 'crap' quality. Now they have surpassed the US in electronics quality. China produces over 90% of computers and 70% of cellphones. Everyone's XBOX was made in China. So were their PS4s. So is the Nintendo Switch. So out of the three video game consoles sold today, ALL are manufactured in China. Out of my 7 pistols, 3 are made in Croatia, 2 in Brazil, one in Austria, and one in Germany. None in the US.

Not true, I buy very few products from China. I'll pay %50 more for products made in the us or other non communist countries.

I ONLY buy from communist countries... tools and clothing from China, my signed Dennis Rodman pictures from North Korea, sugar cane and water buffalo from Laos, furniture and other wooden products from Vietnam, and my cigars from Cuba. I used to buy my bullets and guns from CCCP, but now I have them imported to China then shipped to me. XD

I bought an Ithaca pump defender once for $75 more than this POS. 6 rounds later and the feed ramp fell off. The store that sold it to me actually gave me store credit instead of fixing it. You get what you pay for. That being said I'm still interested.

Wonder if any wood furniture would fit these shotguns? Or better aftermarket kits? For the price it might be worth it, just for fun or? Would never trust my life to it however

Beretta A series and Browning B80 fit. Those guns are what these are clones of. You still might have to mod the stock a little because I doubt they're a perfect clone.

Fyi, ackeraj1 has only been registered 3 days and his only two posts have been for this exact item. My shill detector is going off.

Haha farthest thing from a shill. I am an attorney in western PA. I paid 87.25 for 3 mags they are to ship late July. I did only join the site because I thought the gun was getting a bad rap. The gun is not flawless but for the price it is a blast.

I am also an attorney in western PA who paid 87.24 for 4 mags. What site did you buy them from again? Honestly though you would think an attorney would use the word "furthest" as opposed to "farthest" but what do I know....

I bought a shill detector about a year ago, but it was "Winchester" brand....probably made in China electronics.

I too, am an attorney in western PA.

I think we three need to set up a lawyery labor union with all of us legal masons hailing from the same town in PA. Just make sure that we are "furthest" from the bad side of town being our 5 round mags haven't come in yet ;)

How intriguing it is to observe to attorneys banter about this inexpensive shotgun that most gunsluts would buy just to add another lead flinger to the safe. I'm hoping it is at least built strong enough for my own 2&3/4" reloads. SMIB..

Can you dress these up with different stock and foregrip?
Will they interchange with a certain brand or model? Knockoff of a specific model?

The action and gas system is a clone of the Beretta A390/A391. The magazine system is unique though, the Beretta's are tube fed.
