The SAR9 METE with its new generation lightweight polymer frame stands out with its featherweight 750 grams. The pistol is produced with a forged ally steel barrel and slide, and offers three sizes of changeable side plates and back straps. Equipped with an optical fixed rear sight, the SAR9 METE enables ease of us with a trigger safety and a firing pin block. Thanks to its 3-dot windage adjustable sights, trigger safety, and firing pin block, the SAR9 METE also enables the use of accessories with its special rail system on the frame.

Damn good deal on in my experience and opinion is by far the best pistol money can buy in this price range and even up to double the price. The SAR9 is flat out an amazing pistol. I spent a couple months testing and putting this pistol thru it's paces as I wanted to find a reliable, accurate, and comfortable side arm for my armed officers to carry in my private security company. As I am also a firearms instructor I can say with experience you can't go wrong with the SAR9. While I didn't buy this exact model, opting for the optic ready version, I still own this model as well. I replaced all the pistols we used to carry with the SAR9. My officers love the SAR9 as do I. The value for money saved me and my business Alot of money. However value is not the most important part, it's the pistol being super reliable, accurate and comfortable for all sizes hands. I now own a total of 13 and none have had a single issue over 1000's of rounds in testing. Again probably the best $200 you can spend!
I 100% agree, I don't own 13 lol, only 4 but have 1000s literally of round through each, 9X (2), 9 sub (2), *I believe the T model is the one with safety, I've shot that one again, GREAT pistols. Prior military so initially got into these based on the NATO testing and HIGH ratings!
Yes they are fantastic weapons and are often overlooked due to being made in Turkey however that's just the gun snobs who don't like imported firearms. My duty pistols are all the X tactical versions with optics ready slide, extended mags and threaded barrels and I have a couple of the regular versions in my safe. They are absolutely rock solid and a pleasure to shoot. In my opinion best bang for your buck on the market today.
