Agree on your points. Another negative is stiff mushy and cheaply made manual safety - either buy without one or hopefully it will get better
One of the best firearms in 2025! Hands down probably the most reliable, accurate and comfortable pistol one can buy even under $500 in my opinion, let alone under $200! Yeah can't go wrong with the SAR lineup. The ONLY downside is the janky way they made it "optics ready". They simply drilled a couple threaded holes on the slide instead of a cut out slide. It works but to co-witness you need a low profile optic and extra tall suppressor height sites. But even if you don't need an optic it is still a steal. Good news is the most recent generation (3 I think) has the slide milled out. They listen to their customers and rectified the only real complaint.
For $200 it's a no brainer, heck buy 2 for when SHTF and moneys no good! Hahahaha
