Not even "milspec" . True military spec is far better...this is just inexpensive rebranded Anderson from their buyout, and they got rid of the AR556. Disappointing imho. No more CHF and upgrade choices. Just a cheap stripped carbine version and a mid length version with old Magpul K2.

Personally, if it's within their budget, I suggest folks look into and consider the the Ruger MPR. It can be Pre-ordered right now from SOSS for $679.99 w/free shipping. (They had it priced at $649.99 a few hours ago)

There is absolute nothing that makes this AR special...all parts are plain, cheap milspec stuff. So many other options available in the price range that have a few enhancements over this rifle. The only thing you get with this rifle is it has a Ruger branding.
