It's already a pistol, no need to SBR it. It's a fun little plinker, squirrel smacker.
What I am talking about is if one replaced the "brace" with a dedicated rifle stock. At that point it becomes an NFA SBR. Or at least that's what I understand, I could be wrong though?.
Yes, if you replace the brace with a stock you'd need to SBR it. But there are braces that are nearly identical to a stock, so I don't know why you would really....but you do you. :-)
As an SBR you could have more flexibility when it came to foregrip's, also some states have different laws about transporting pistols vs "rifles" so sometimes people think about that when wanting a truck gun. Especially if someone is under 21 might be driving the car alone where they'd need to be 21 for a pistol or if the state doesn't have rules about "concealed" rifles.
It looks like a Ruger charger 22. It can be any of the things you mentioned.

What in the abomination hell child is this?
I have no clue but it's definitely intriguing...
Come 2026 this would make a fun SBR with a suppressor I suppose.
I don't hate it, Just not sure what role it fits?
Range toy? Conversation piece? Gopher killing slaughter machine? Haha. Anyone have this? Experience?
