Description
With the rise of chemical warfare in World War I, systems to protect both humans and animals were quickly developed to counter it. Since then, the use of horses has almost disappeared in most armies. An outlier are the mountain units of the Romanian Land Forces, many of which still ride horses (and go through chemical warfare drills with those horses) up to the present day. This Cold War-era Gas Mask is a great collectible example of the novel design required to protect a horse against gas attack.

Tim Waltz already has a few of these.
Would be cool if you took this down before my mother-in-law finds out these come in her size now. Appreciate it.
“Don’t let’em gas me, Wilber!” - Mr. Ed, probably.

OMG, marjorie taylor greene looks so pretty in the photos modeling the mask. Bonus points for barely being able to hear her rant about space lasers or the government creating hurricanes to attack red voting districts ;)
