Dude, a piece of tape will fix that. Couple other problems too I betcha’!
You can tighten things down on the pic rails but you have tot tighten much much more than a metal pic rail. Just keep going eventually things will lock down.
Rebate Schebate….. I wouldn’t pay $100 for this piece of shit anyway. Why? Because it doesn’t work! DO NOT even think of using this as a home defense weapon!!!
Mine is fun as hell, goes bang, & makes holes, every time I squeeze the trigger, just about as fast as I can squeeze the trigger. Who talks shit about spending minimal money on something just to talk shit? That guy lol

I installed that folding brace on my VRF14. I tried a pistol grip and an AR stock on the tube and they work great. The "buffer' tube is commercial spec not mil-spec so it is slightly bigger. However, I cant figure out if the VRF is legal with the brace installed. No one seems to know.
IANAL but the brace should not be an issue as the ATF classifies this is a 'firearm' much like the Mossberg Shockwave. A stock on the other hand would put you in SBS territory.

It says $199.99 after $100 rebate. Is this a cash rebate? I bought from Rock Island before and the rebate was a store credit for a sister store that had accessories and knives. It wasn't cash. Does anyone know? I just purchased the gun
Sister store. Can confirm as I've already done my rebate and had it credited at Advanced Tactical.
For those who already purchased, received and submitted their rebate info (I got an email within 24 hours of submission on RIA's website saying my credit was applied at Advanced Tactical), they are running a Black Friday sale with code BF22 through November 27th for 15% on all accessories and ammunition and 5% off all firearms including sale items. With the code I can get 5 more 9-rounders shipped to my state (tax + free shipping) for $92.63. They also have Taylor Freelance +3 magazine extensions which I didn't even know about.
I only see a $100 "rebate" to use at sister site. Where is $300 or $500 total rebate? Seems too good anyways, $300 rebate on $300 gun.. still a great deal, and the fact it's made in USA sealed deal for me.
I think what Viral is suggesting is you could use the $100 rebate as a discount off another shotgun, making it $200.
He or she brings up a great point though, I assumed this was a real rebate, not a coupon to be used at a single store online. Really makes this deal much less of a 'buy it now' thing. The website isn't horrible though. You can get ammo at semi-decent prices or just get (4) extra mags for the price of shipping after the rebate. Another thing that annoys me is PSA is charging $17 shipping on this. Not unreasonable but they pick and choose what they charge freight on.
FYI - this is NOT a ‘cash / check back’ rebate. It’s a web store credit at Advanced Tactical online shop. You could use it to get another VRF14 from them as they have them for $300 if you so choose as your store credit can be applied.
Gun works fine, but good luck finding anything to tighten down on the out of spec rails. Nothing magpul or FAB defense will tighten down on them. RIA isn't interested in hearing about, or fixing it either.
