The screw is recessed and you’re correct it’s because it’s a clamshell frame. The suppressor height sights are to cowitness with an optic
Yes I understand it is recessed HOWEVER even recessed it would still wear on your skin over time. Unless you early shoot your guns, this is fine I'm sure. But as I said if you shoot a few hundred rounds at the range, tour still going to feel the irritation and or pain from such a screw recessed or not. I am a certified firearms and for the department of public safety standards and training here in my home state so I shoot a lot! I'm not saying that this is a bad pistol or anything like that.
Idk on this one. I definitely don't like that small screw head right on the grip area. Seems to me that would irritate the shit out of me and not feel good after several rounds down range. Not exactly sure why it's there? One down voter said it has a clamshell frame so maybe it's part of that I also don't understand the supressor height sights on a pistol without a threaded barrel?
