Really? I have the "MS" version and it's been a great pistol for me. No issues.
RIA is junk. Bought this in a compact version - fails to go back to battery. Have to tap the slide to do that. Was brand new. Total junk. Buy CZ or Sar cm9 or b6c if you want a clone. Bul Armory is decent as well
Agree 100%. Id take a Turkish manufacturer over the Philippine made pistols. It is my personal experience and opinion that Turkish made guns have MUCH better quality control and are much more reliable than the RIA pistols.
For the money, Buy a SAR version.
Yes. My favorite is Sar - military grade reliability and phenomenal value, then Tisas - much better budget 1911s and 2011s than RIA. Have some Caniks but don't like how they feel and shoot - high bore axis plus overall weird grip and feel plus Canik is not too good in reliability department - especially mc9 is a disaster
Don't currently have Girsan - heard mixed reviews in terms of reliability - looking to get a Regard though.
I agree that the SAR lineup of pistols are the best value on the market today. I have MANY of them and I cannot say anything bad about any of them, especially at the prices I've paid for mine. As I've said many times, my entire Armed security officers all carry issued Sar9's. Firearm expenses was costing me a lot of money as a business owner and a lot of people including myself hated the way Glocks felt and ran. With almost no adjustable ergos and lack of optics rails on the gen 3-4 Glocks we had, just made them unfavorable to myself and many of my guards. I spent months and thousands of rounds testing the SAR9 before making the decision to run them as our company sidearm. Best decision I ever made regarding company sidearms and our budget. Many of my guards have since purchased their own SAR9's because they loved them so much.
Do not buy from this seller. They took my money, never shipped. Zero contact. Had to file formal complaints with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), and FTC-Fraud Division. If you buy from these clowns - good luck
