Description

RA-140-BLK does not come with trigger pins. You will need to supply .154" trigger pins, either MIL-SPEC or KNS non-rotating pins work great. This is a drop-in trigger group, but to ensure best performance the instructions should be read and followed.

The Rise Armament Black Fallout RA-140 Super Sporting Trigger is a single stage trigger with a 3.5 lb pull weight. The trigger group is a self-contained unit designed to allow you to drop it directly in your lower receiver without the assistance of a gunsmith. Drop-in triggers can greatly enhance the accuracy of firearm and are an easy custom upgrade. Manufactured and assembled per strict AS9100 aerospace requirements.

The Black Fallout Trigger now features a redesigned hammer with a drop safety catch! This safety feature ensures that no matter how short the pull and reset may be, this trigger will remain drop safe so you can have confidence that your rifle will not fire until you're ready.

Good deal on these triggers, I have one and it functions great, feels really nice, so I picked up two more but the free 2 day shipping wasn't working for me so I just paid for the standard USPS shipping instead. Either way great price for a good trigger

How does one get the free shipping? Are there requirements as to which items make up the $125?

Purchased two of these from Optics Planet. One of them broke clean & crisp at 3.5 pounds with a very short reset, the other broke at 4.5 pounds so I contacted Rise, they emailed me a prepaid label to return the 4.5 lb trigger and let me know today that they're sending me a new one. Rise has really good customer service from my experience. Prrmary Arms does as well & ships lightning fast.

Installed this today. Very pleased with it. Got a nice set of pins on eBay for like $11. Will have to put my ar47 upper on and test it with golden tiger... Not sure if it will be a success but I bought the trigger for .223. if it does cycle golden tiger I will be purchasing more of these for my other 2 AR's. It really feels great compared to my Anderson and Bear Creek mil specs.

Lightened hammer..? Will this work on hard Russian primers?
I'd love to hear from anyone who has one in an ARx39.

I bought it last year, partially based on this evaluation:
http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2016/04/jeremy-s/ar-15-drop-in-trigger-roundup/...

$80 is a steal. I think I paid $99 free shipping. It's a good trigger. Not great, but on my 24" AR...it is. Very, very slight take up and then crisp break.

That doesn't look like a sale price to me. I'm hoping for a BF deal with 5-10% off or free ship.

There's a few other places within a few dollars of this price. I'm gonna sit for a week.

This trigger looks really nice, but once I went to check out and read the info on it and saw that it doesn't come with anti roll pins, I went over to graniteridgeoutfutters.com and bought a jmt trigger for the same price with free shipping and anti roll pins.

Rise Armaments makes really nice drop in triggers. I have one like this one as well as their flagship trigger, the RA-535. Previously, Wilson Combat single stage TTU triggers were my go to triggers. But I bought an inexpensive trigger from Rise and I was so impressed I decided to try the RA-535. I now like the Wilson Combat TTU and Ra-535 equally. Both are top of the line triggers. They set the bar to beat.

The RA 535 is every bit as awesome as Wilson Combat TTU's. This one for the cost may be the best bang for the buck 1-stage drop in trigger out there.

I think there is one company that is making a lot of the drop in triggers that look VERY similar to each other. Change the color and logo and BAM (pun intended) you have a different brand. I believe it's the guy that use to work for Timney that setup his own company, his own brand has a green finish, they are posted on here a lot.

How do these triggers stack against the bigger name ones out there?

Search "ar-15-drop-in-trigger-roundup", it's a truthaboutguns article. There are several reviews out there. I haven't tested the expensive stuff and compared but this trigger is awesome at a great price in my opinion. As that article say's it's an amazing trigger for the price.

In that trigger article be sure and read read the "Drop-In Trigger?" portion. It talks of an important and overlooked factor. Think real hard about investing in a premium trigger that is not a drop in: The relationship of the pins to the sear and hammer can and will be effected by the receiver. I have had to file and adjust a trigger due to a receiver inconsistency even though the pins seem to be in spec. Not saying you can't have a great trigger off the pins but it's a variable out of the equation with a drop in. With a drop in they can build and test to perfection because the pin alignment that they can't control has no effect. With that in mind, if I spend on a trigger then I just assume make the jump to a drop in and this ra-140 makes it a small jump in money. This Ra-140 is where premium meets affordable.

Search "Squirrel Daddy Stainless Anti Walk" for some nice cheap pins to install it. I have tools from squirrel as well, really good stuff for cheap.

I can vouch for Squirrel Daddy as well. Made several happy purchases from them since 2012.

No point even worrying. The Rock River varmint trigger has the same pull weight, gives you a two stage pull, comes with pins and costs less.

Search google for the part number: AR0093NMKV

Found one just now for $88.

Except the Rock River has documented poor case hardening issues resulting in accelerated wear, and it hasn't seemed to get any better over the years.
