The PSAK-47 GF3 was designed from the ground up to be a new standard in AK-47 rifles, utilizing all new precision manufactured parts. Thoroughly tested in development, we tortured tested to 10,000 rounds to ensure a quality product. Not to be satisfied with just a good AK-47, we kept improving and now are proud to announce our PSAK-47 Gen3 Hammer Forged (GF3) rifle with a hammer forged bolt, carrier, and front trunnion.
The 4150 barrel is nitride treated for accuracy and durability and is pressed into a new hammer forged front trunnion to ensure the longevity AK-47s are known for. The hardened steel 1mm receiver features a mil-spec style single hook trigger, and side rail mount. The front trunnion and bolt carrier are engraved with GF3 to designate the GF3 hammer-forged model. The rifle is finished with a Magpul AK-47 polymer handguard, Magpul AKM stock, and a Magpul AK-47 Grip. Rifle ships with a 30 round Magpul magazine where allowed by law.

PSA stuff sells out quick. Nobody is bait and switch here.
Great Ak, I have over 2000 rounds thru mine. If price was the same yes I would buy a WASR. Price is around 150-200 more$150-200moremore
Say the prices on both rifles are the same. You'd really prefer the WASR over the PSA? I think I can trust the PSA stuff a lot more.
The WASR I had looked like it was made out of pot metal, had the worst wood furniture possible, and put together by a monkey (front sight so canted it couldn’t zero). It ran fine but I got rid of it. The AKPs and PSAKs I’ve seen have perfectly straight sights with a nice finish. YMMV but I’d take a PSA AK over a WASR now. There’s always a chance of a lemon, but they also have a lifetime warranty which limits the impact
It's not what the purest go for, but 922R compliant like a mug. You can have up to 4 Russian mags coupled to each other and attached to this thing. So stock up on the surplus.
How are these forged and less than stamped WASR? And if you say American made... good!
The bolt, the carrier and the front trunnion are forged. The receiver is stamped.
