FEATURES
Palmetto State Armory is proud to announce the long-awaited release of the JAKL chambered in 300 Blackout! This platform is built around a 6105 monolithic upper receiver designed to be compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receiver. The PSA JAKL offers a buffer system that is fully captured in the upper receiver, shortening the overall length of the firearm. Completed with a F5 MFG Brace.
The PSA JAKL features a long-stroke piston design with a Carpenter 158 bolt and 4340 carrier that are an AK/AR hybrid. Our side charging handle is ambidextrous, allowing the user to change positions to the left or right side of the receiver without the use of tools. Equipped with a toolless 6-position gas block, this feature offers the ability to quickly adjust your gas block by hand when needed. Field stripping and removal of the JAKL carrier, recoil assembly, and sled assembly can all be done without tools for effortless cleaning.
300 Blackout JAKL has parts that are unique to this JAKL Model.
- Gas Piston
- Gas Block
- Gas Adjustment Knob
- Recoil Spring
***We cannot guarantee cycling of Subsonic ammo with low back pressure suppressors***

I have heard a lot of people are having fun with these. I don't own one but without the buffer tube you can still fold the brace and fire the weapon, even though it's meant for storage..lol. The manufacturer claims this feature is for emergency situations only.

Yeah the whole stupid law about what a "brace" is or is not needs to be put out to pasture. The line between companies designing braces that are considered "legal" and the federal government is becoming more blurry by the month.. it's just a really dumb issue in the first place.

The last I heard as of July 2025 the dismissal of the governments pistol brace rule can now remain standing and will remain vacated, but the court did not agree to a permanent injunction against the ATF that would not allow them to bring a rule similar in the future. The ATF lost in court because they did not follow proper procedure when implementing the the rule, so yes this an on going subject that we will have to keep track of, unfortunately. Thanks to Pam Bondi for her work to secure our 2nd Amendment rights for now.

And again here's the troll down voting PSA again ..
This is going to be my next purchase. Not sure what caliber but these are damn cool.
Does anyone know if these can be fired while in the folded position?
