I find PSA lower build kits to be one of the best values on the market. All their lower parts just WORK, and the inclusion of nice magpul furniture makes them even sweeter. Unless I'm jonsesing for some super fancy stock that I can't get from their build kits, I can't even put together a lower parts kit + butt stock kit for the same price as the full lower build kit. (only thing I swap out is the grips, as I'm in love with the hogue beavertail grips)... I've built 12 different build kits from PSA (maybe more, I've built several for friends so I've lost count) and besides a random tiny issue like a detent being out of specs, I've never had a problem. Just as a note, I've never had an use with a PSA order, and they're turn around time is reasonable. I believe they have mostly resolved their show order issues.

Nope most people don't buy their product. They Went from selling individual rifles for 899.95 to selling ak47 and at sets for 799.95. T

most people don't buy their products? PSA is the RIA of the AR world. they sell some of THE MOST quantities of AR and AR parts in the market since they came into production

I would not say that necessarily about PSA you're a good company but person I think bearcreekarsenalcom aches a better product I know a lot of people hate on them but that's because they really don't know what they're talking about I mean if you look at a Bear Creek Arsenal Barrel compared to a PSA Barrel bearcreekarsenal makes a Superior Barrel it's like Taurus either get a good Taurus or you get a shity T Taurus but if you know how to work on them they can be a very reliable gun then you have people that like certain brands that hate certain brands I'm very bias I hate Glock some ppl love them its all about the customer and what they're looking for I have rifles for hunting and practical use self defense if the Chinese invade tomorrow I think AR-15 competition with guys spending three or four thousand dollars on a ours is a complete waste of money that's just me everybody different

To each their own, but I 100% disagree with the statement that BCA trumps PSA. I’ve personal experience with both companies products, and both are good value. Where PSA sets itself apart is in its ability to offer a holistic lineup of products for the home AR builder. I can’t get and EPT or decent 2-stage trigger from BCA. I can’t get different colors of Magpul furniture from BCA. I can’t get optics already included in my build kit for an extremely reasonable package price from BCA.

I get what you’re trying to say, but I’m not drinking your cool-aid...

I don't think that their pricing has much to do with people not buying from them, but more from the fact that prices have gone down in general. a year ago, an AR for $500-600 was a great deal, but today, those same guns are $350-400.
FYI- I also ordered this kit immediately after my last post, and it shipped next business day, scheduled for arrival this coming Friday.

23 days to get your order is "normal" for palmetto state armory right now. Don't expect a tracking number or communication, the phone is always busy.
