I'd just pay a bit extra and get a LaRue MBT-2S

Is this good for an AR9 with blowback bolt and 7" barrel?

In for one, $80 with free shipping (PSA Shipping can be ridiculous) would have been a deal last year but is a very rare deal now. Anyone tried one before??

I purchased this PSA trigger a couple weeks ago and I really like it for the price, creep is nearly non existent, crisp break and short reset, 3.5 lbs. I put it in my trigger testing lower to test it out, and measured the pull weight with my wheeler trigger testing gauge. I have not yet installed it in an AR but the hammer seems to hit pretty hard so I imagine it will run well and fast if desired.

I am very impressed with mine too. I've never used anything better than a "Enhanced Polished Trigger" (EPT) from PSA and this is much more crisp. I have mine installed in a 6.5 Grendel build but I've yet to get on our local range but I am super excited to try this thing out!

I have one of the PSA 2 stage triggers, it’s nickel coated. I like it, however it’s the first upgraded trigger I’ve purchased. Everyone raves about La Rue, i’ll have to try one of theirs next. I think this would be a great trigger, but I’m already hooked on 2 stage setups

If you're hooked on two-stage, the MBT is awesome (I have them in two of my rifles and have installed it in friends rifles). I also really like the G2S but the G2S has gone way up in price and the MBT has not (Thank you Larue for not jumping on the price gouging band wagon). I purchased this PSA trigger a couple weeks ago and I really like it for the price, creep is nearly non existent, crisp break and short reset, 3.5 lbs.

PSA CAN be great. Their AK is fantastic, esp. when compared to a WASR & CA build. But - why not spend the extra $10 & get a LaRue? Take your pick, their 1 & 2 stage are $89. Diffr'nt Strokes for different folks, I guess. Just a suggestion.

Looks interesting,,, this guy reviewed it

"This guy", actually has two review videos on this trigger. The first is dry-fire only, where he reveals that PSA sent him the trigger free, for him to review. The second review is live-fire, where he eventually admits he is "affiliated" with PSA. Apparently, he and Chad Wylie, the CEO of PSA, are good friends. I concluded this after watching a third video the reviewer posted of him attending a big PSA bash in South Carolina. It shows him joking around with his buddy Chad. I continue to be amazed at what I can learn when I take the time to do a little research, and I hope you find my comments informative.

Not going to thumbs down this post, but why do this when MBT-2S is an option for less?

larue component trigger is 4.5# (2.5 + 2)
psa cassette trigger is listed as 3.5#
If you think the PSA isn’t a good product that’s one thing and you may be right, but people pay gunsmiths all the time to drop a pound off triggers.

It’s a comment board duncan, no cares about your real name except little kids or weirdos. Just the quality of your post, that’s all that matters

Yeah, show me a computerized trigger plot better than the MBT2S and cheaper and then I'll take a look.
