Here is a link to the $79.99 Ballistic Advantage AR15 Enhanced Lower Receiver which is currently the "Best Buy" online. It is identical to the very popular, highly rated Aero Precision M4E1 lower receiver, with the same enhanced features except it has the Ballistic Advantage "Spade" logo. Arm Or Ally ship quickly, and take great care of their customers. I highly recommend you go to the link, read the reviews, and get a great deal. https://www.armorally.com/shop/ballistic-advantage-ar15-enhanced-lower-receiver/...

I bet everybody complaining about the $9 shipping charge for a $30 lower wishes that deal was available today. Should have paid the $9 and ordered several if you don't like today's market prices . The gouge is on !

Down to $99 and free shipping so it is trending in the right direction.

All these negative comments. PSA had these on sale for $29 a few years ago, and people bitched at the $9 shipping charge. These people on here are like petulant children. They act like the world exists only to offer them dirt cheap prices. How are these companies supposed to stay in business if they aren't allowed to move their prices with market demand? That's insane. Y'all should have paid the measly $9 shipping charge a few years ago, and you would have had a ton of cheap lowers. Heck, since y'all are so generous, you could have saved them for times like these and resold them for $40 while everyone else is charging $100+

True enough. I was happy to buy mine when they were $29.99 since I figured they could not get any lower. I've always felt that shipping costs should be as close to the actual cost as possible. Not sure what USPS, UPS, FEDEX charge now but it probably is not that much less than $9.

Do not buy at $109. It’s extreme price gouging.

$40. Shame on you PSA.

I remember two years ago, people were crying about the shipping when PSA was selling these for $29.

Free market, shame the price gouging and go to the competition. You'd rather stifle speech communist.

Out of stock.

People actually bought at $110.

Hard to be mad at PSA in retrospect, when these are selling.

That's a 120% price increase in 12 months, folks. These were $49.99 last year. We are being gouged, hard.

Hell, they were $39 16 months ago.

I agree. But at the same time I understand that a lot of these companies could have their business ruined by anti gun laws in the next couple years. So I don’t know how to feel about it. Sucks for us either way.

If that happens, I will have compassion for the companies that attempted to treat their customers fairly. Those that don't, GOOD RIDDANCE. They can eat shit, and die.

They have treated their customers fairly. These were $29 two years ago, and people were bitching about being charged $9 for shipping. At $29, these companies were taking an a$$ raping, IMO.
Supply and demand. If you are so humble, why not sell something at half the price that someone else is willing to pay? Have a house? Say you are older and paid $50,000 for it years ago. Perhaps home sales were down a few years ago, and the market price was only $100,000; but now, the market price is up and some people are willing to pay $200,000 for your house. Are you going to sell to the buyer willing to pay $100,000? You should be willing to do so as that aligns with your moral compass.

No one knows what the future will bring,, but it might be a good idea to not fuck the customers they currently have. 120% price increase in 12 months. Just saying. I've spent a good bit of money with PSA over the years, starting with my first AR build in 2009. No longer. Regardless of what happens, I will remember and shop elsewhere.

Don’t pay this price their not worth the money Psa should be shamed I thought this company was for the people

Pricing themselves out of the market, I thought PSA was the go to value budget option. Same value but no longer budget . Not sure if I want to do business with them anymore.

I agree. PSA has turned its back on the customers that helped make it successful, and has become totally focused on grabbing up every penny they can grab. Anyone that still wants to defend PSA's behavior, should take a look at how LaRue Tactical has behaved. Tens of thousands of us own, and love our $80 LaRue MBT-2s triggers. LaRue has not raised the price $0.01 on any of the products they produce in well over a year. Today you can still buy their custom configured, premium quality, Ultimate AR 15 Upper Kit, which is a COMPLETE AR 15, MINUS A STRIPPED LOWER RECEIVER with MBT-2s trigger, in a variety of calibers for $792 (See link below). The exact same price it was two years ago, while PSA was selling their ($500) budget rifle for $929 earlier this week

Am I reading this right? No way this thing is 115 plus ship + tax + transfer. Woe.

Aero Precision M4E1 has the best lowers IMO. No messing with the bolt catch roll pin or the trigger guard pin, plus they have the screw to tighten upper-lower fitment. Only problem, they're out of stock often. Best lower for the money if you can find them in stock.

$100 for a standard lower? Way overpriced. COVID times or not. Much better prices and lowers elsewhere. Another PSA rip-off. Much respect lost...

I think it was last summer when they were $30 plus shipping for stripped lower receivers.

I knew the $29 price plus $9 shipping 14 months ago was too good to last long. Didn't think we'd see prices this high so soon.

I just ordered 3 ponies from primary for 109$ shipped. FFL will charge me 30$ for all three of them. 139$ for 3 lowers is a steel. Just going to sit on them probably. PSA still gets most of my money though. Who cares if shipping takes a while sometimes. It's business. Something many don't understand. It's how they keep prices so low. I'll wait if it gets me a better price. Low staff = low cost. I don't want to pay more to get it faster. Not like I'm waiting on my first gun ever or anything.

Now they're asking $69.99 for one

For me it's that they literaly take weeks to ship. Man and they couldn't give half a shit either. I bought a poverty pony elsewhere the other day and they shipped the next day. FUCK PSA.

I don't think some of you guys are realizing that they charge $9 shipping PER lower. If you buy 5 lowers, you pay $45 shipping. That is crazy. Plus they charge you tax no matter what state you live in. They also charge tax on the shipping fees. I have never seen that done

1 vote
1 vote

WA. has been charging tax on shipping since well before they required collecting "USER" tax on items outside the state. Pretty sure it was put in place to prevent some companies, for example, from charging $200 for shipping and $10 for the item. Perpetuated by the Chinese on ebay to avoid fee's.

What are you talking about? States decide whether sales tax in applicable to shipping and added services, and many apply it to shipping so it doesn't matter how you break it down. The Ebay example is from the long-gone days where FVF (Final Value Fees) didn't apply to shipping. I don't even remember how long ago that was.

Basically the take away is that if a store is billing you sales tax, it's because an accountant credibly advised them to do so because it was in there best interest to avoid problems down the road. They don't benefit in any tangible way from billing buyers sales tax. As a business owner these comments just come off as uninformed.

$9 shipping for EACH lower.

People complaining about shipping forget these have to be shipped the same way a firearm does. $9 isnt that bad. Shops charge $70 for lowers near me.

Agree.

They charge $9 because its a firearm. It is supposed to be 2 day shipping. Hence the cost. I ordered 3 a few weeks ago they sent them out quick.

If these had free shipping it would be a deal. Looking at the cost for 2 with FFL fee and background fee, I need to be at $30 or $35 with free shipping to maximize the price. Psa does have the $40 version with free ship, but this deal with $9 shipping saves a $1 each.

Seems great, until you realize they charge you $9 shipping per lower. When will gun.deals take into account shipping costs when advertising a price. Buy Anderson’s from primary arms. At least they are honest on what they charge for shipping.

29.99 Lower with 9$ shipping is still cheaper than MSRP, but here you are complaining LMAO.

Get over yourself man, there's shipping costs in almost everything posted here and has been that way

5 votes

Agree !! I just wait until Primary Arms runs the special on Anderson lowers for $30 a piece and purchase up to whatever the limit is. A while back, they had a 'Limit 3' on the open trigger guards, and 'Limit 3' on the closed trigger guards. I purchased all 6 and when they got to my FFL dealer, he couldn't believe I got them all for $180 with $10 shipping !!

You are absolutely right. I don't mind businesses that charge for shipping, but when they use excessive shipping to lower their advertised price, that turns me off.

You must not order online often because almost every single site does not include s&h. Nobody does. None. Get over yourself some of you just want to complain . Aero precision doesn't. Primary arms doesn't. Bcm doesn't. Nobody because shipping is different everywhere .

Complaining about shipping on a $30 lower. Priorities are in the wrong place.

And your order is probably going to sit around for 1-2 weeks at Palmetto before it ships. They USUALLY ship uppers and non-FFL parts in a reasonable amount of time but lowers take a bit.
