I just purchased this upper. I hate the handguards it comes with. But it has triangle handguard end (front) cap, so Colt M16a4 smaller circular handguards (sold at Brownells) look great, also the M16a1 triangle handguards fit perfect also. Its been a good shooter so far. Seems fairly accurate, but I'm using carry handle iron sights, no optic. BTW, I've been shooting 55gr M193 and its been drilling targets at 300+ meters.

Great deal! Keep in mind this is 1:7 twist though... Not accurate at long distances without a heavy boolit

The great debate. That's too general a comment and completely dependent on so MANY variables! More dependent in finding the right grain ammo and load for your set up. If you want to reach out and touch something go with an AR 6.5 Creedmoor or an actual hunting rifle with nice optics and tons of practice! Best advice is don't listen to blanketed statements and do your own research.
