Classic Handguards.
Barrel: This 416R Stainless Steel barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:7" twist, M4 barrel extension, and a mid-length gas system. It is finished off with classic mid-length handguards, an F-marked Front Sight Base, and an A2 Flash Hider.
Upper: The forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is machined to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer.
Does not include bolt carrier group or charging handle.
** These uppers will have cosmetic blemishes that do not affect function. This may include, but is not limited to, forging marks under the finish, scratches, slight variation in the finish color coat.

Bought one of these last week before the free shipping. Shipped 2 days later. Cannot ask for faster shipping than that. Excellent company to deal with.
I just bought 3 of these uppers but I got them with the BGC, charging handle, lower parts kit, buffer tube and stock, and the Vortex 1x Prism scope ... all for $499. I don't think a better deal can be had!
For two hundred bucks, this is a great deal.
For those that want to get this for $200 on a free shipping weekend, PSA is way smarter than that. You will notice that every time they have free shipping this (and similar great deal models) will be out of stock. Once the free shipping is over, a few days later the really good deals show up.
A couple of times each year they have the best deals on a free shipping weekend, but those are few and far between.
It is totally worth it to get this for $200 and pay the $17 shipping.

What's the barrel profile? A2, heavy, or medium?
My brother has one of these mounted on top of a New Frontier completed lower and the gun rocks. The fit between the two is precise, the lower and upper function flawlessly together and the upper has excellent accuracy. My brother, who's new to AR's and doesn't shoot regularly, was hitting everything he was aiming for at 100 yards, including paper cup sized targets using iron sights and steel ammo. I was amazed. If his upper is indicative of all these uppers, it is a steal at this price.
I bought a PSA upper last year and am very happy with it. Great quality and accuracy.
It was a better deal last month when it included the Sparc Optic at $259.99.
Not the deal you think! $160 upper, $150 lower, $100 BCG & Charging handle= $410 or you could get a S&W sport 2/ Ruger 5.56 ($440)and have a gun that you could sell for $400 when you upgrade. You have to give PSA ar's away. It's not a bad gun but the choice is more then clear to me and yes I had one.
