The Speed Shot 1-4×24 features include a 30 millimeter tube, larger target style capped turrets with 1/2 moa click adjustments, 3.5 of eye relief, fast-focus eye-piece, wide-angle field-of-view and illuminated 4moa dot reticle with 11 brightness settings. The new Speed Shot utilizes a illumination system that allows the illumination to be seen during normal daylight conditions, without causing any excessive tube glow. This new illumination system, combined with the dot reticle is ideal for many different applications that may require speed shots, including but not limited to CQB, hog hunting and bear hunting. We also feel it would be ideal for turkey hunting, closer range varmint hunting such as squirrel hunting. All of these features at a price that can’t be matched.

Don’t know where they are made but a few years ago on Black Friday they were $100/amazon. Never seen them that low since but just an FYI
I have both and really like both for the money. Depends on the recticle you want. Also the Busnell is FFP. Which is nice for ranging longer shots if your running 55 grain 556. But I'm better with this for some reason close quarters. 1x power is better in this optic. They are big great optics IMHO. I've seen both at around this price on sale which is a steal. I run these or primary arms 1-6x on my AR's with low powered optics. I also run the 2.5xprimary arms and leartherwood hi-lux CMR. The leatherwood is probably my favorite out of everything I mentioned but it's on the higher end of the "budget" minded 1-4 or 1-6x...
Thinking about buying this or the Bushnell with the throw down lever. Comparable price. Anyone have any input on which is the better buy?
Love this scope..have it on my Ruger AR 556.. Works great...red dot is highly visible on a sunny day and optics are clear. The eye relief is 3.5-4 inches.
Have had a Mueller Speed Shot optic since Mar2012 and is still going strong. Has been used on 3gun rifles, brush hunting rifles and on a hog hunt.

How does this comparison to the Nikon p2231x?
