Was at the range one day and a friend and I were sighting in our muzzle loaders. He was getting very frustrated by not being able to hit his target after the first shot went high and right. After making major changes to his sights he finally figured out the target he put up already had a hole in it from a prior time lol. A bore sight came in very handy that day.

More plastic in this pistol than what's in your grannies cupboards after an old school "Tupperware party".. seriously everything is plastic including the internals and the trigger. I don't care what anyone thinks, polymer aka plastic does separate, warp and crack over time from the extreme heating and cooling cycles and the high pressure created inside the chamber. Why do you think that they keep adding more and more "over molded" parts? It's because of the failures I just said. Save your money and buy at least a metal upper. If you check around you can find all metal milspec rifles and pistols for the same money. If this tickles your fancy then by all means buy it. This is just my opinion and you are entitled to yours.

Swiss K1911 Carbine Straight Pull Rifle 7.5x55 - Good to Very Good Surplus Condition - C & R Eligible - $449.99

Damn I sure wish I knew what I know now when it comes to the old surplus firearms. It was just a few decades ago that you could buy these by the case for $80-$100 each. You could buy a case of SKS's over the counter at our sporting goods store for around $75-$85 each. You could get mosins for $70-$100 or less depending on condition and quantity. Other rifles and pistols were also available super cheap, by the case. The Makarov 9x18mm could be had for $60-$75 dollars each. Even some of the more desirable guns like a 1903 Springfield 30-06 could be purchased for less than $250, "sporterized" models for $100-$125. I could go on for days but you get my drift. If is known how much all the surplus guns would be worth today, Id certainly bought several by the case as part of my retirement investment. Lol. "Could of, should of, would of" haha oh well. These are great, fun, reliable and very accurate rifles. And at $449 in today's market, a pretty good deal.

Magpul MBUS Flip-Up Backup Sights, Gray, Rear Sight - $46.39

I'd be very careful about buying some of these sights. They are one of the most fraudulent copied sights made and sold as authentic when in fact they're Chinese knock offs. They're sold all over the Internet and the good ones even come with packaging and literature. Always buy from a reputable source, not from Amazon, AliExpress, eBay, temu or other sites like that. And no, I am not saying this particular sight is fake, I'm simply saying make sure any of the magpul flip ups are authentic before you buy them.

Absolutely some of the best imported pistols ever made. The SAR lineup is Excellent! Great ergos, decent striker fired triggers and absolutely rock solid reliability and accuracy. This is an older non optics ready model but still great value. I own MANY of the different models. Never had a single issue with any of them.
