I was concerned about the weight too but I did the math at 1.8 pounds that's only 2 ounces heavier than my other two 1-6 lpvos if you include the mount. So no it's not lightweight but not super heavy either. it is definitely sleeker and potentially much more durable tho.
I saw these optics at a gun show I was working security for back in November. These are actually pretty neat optics. Appeared to be well made with clear glass and function. I didn't buy one at the time s they were $179 so seeing it on here for less than half that cost, I may have to get one. For $69 it seems a good deal to me.
Edit: for those of you who prefer a first focal plane optic, they do offer this same design in FFP however it is about twice this price
