People who actually buy these disagree with you. The reviews note that they come in great condition. The thing to consider before you buy one is the size. They are listed as adult medium, but if you check the dimensions, these are small, afternoon hiking, size. The good news is a folded Kel-Tec Sub 2000 fits perfectly for those of us who camp in bear country.
Wouldnt a 10mm Glock be handier and faster than a folding carbine in 9 of 40 Short & Weak? Just sayin (trollin'?) ;-)
If, as a camper, you are so unaware of your surroundings that you wouldn't have time to deploy your carbine to protect your family, Darwinism should take you out. The rest of us will be stronger for it. J/K - I usually respond harsly to trolls but the winking emoticon softened my response.
Besides, if you can't get the job done with a 40 cal, the job requires an AKM.
