Optimize your rifle’s accuracy, ergonomics, and versatility with the LSS-XL Gen 2 Chassis by MDT! This rifle chassis is an enhanced version of MDT’s popular LSS system and sports a bold contemporary appearance. One of the LSS-XL’s more notable features is its compatibility with AR15 stocks and pistol grips, allowing the user to tap into the vast selection of aftermarket parts. Should you prefer more adjustability, the LSS-XL Gen 2 can accept many of the buttstocks in MDT’s Skeleton Rifle Stock (SRS) series, as well as their line of Carbine-style stocks (adapter or locking plate may be required, see below for compatibility) . The LSS-XL Gen 2 itself is available for a wide assortment of barreled actions, and utilizes a V-shaped bedding surface for dropping the rifle in without the need for additional bedding. The bottom profile of the V-block cutout has been kept round and close to the action without making contact to maximize strength, and will free-float barrels up to 1.250” in diameter. The LSS-XL Gen 2 is equipped with a longer forend to help position the bipod at a further out for greater stability, and features M-LOK attachment points to accommodate a wider range of customization options. In addition, the LSS-XL Gen 2 Chassis is compatible with AICS magazines, and features barricade stop grooves in the front portion of the mag-well.

Note: The LSS-XL Gen2 ships as a base chassis. An AR15 stock (or a compatible MDT stock), an AR15 buffer tube (commercial or mil spec), and an AR15 pistol grip (or a MDT pistol grip) is required to complete this chassis.

Stocks: The LSS-XL Gen2 is available in 2 variations: the Carbine Buttstock Interface and the Fixed Buttstock Interface. Depending on the stock interface, a special adapter or lock plate might be required.
