The number of people in here who can’t tell this is an FAUX suppressor is alarming

Anyone actually know if the rear of this gun has any sort of interface for attaching a brace or stock if you wanted to SBR it? Obviously the latter is pretty ridiculous but having a folding brace would be a nice upgrade. Just curious

I have a machine works picitiny addapter with an a3 folding brace on mine.

I put an A3 industries pic adapter on mine and put a brace on it but let it be knows it will be super hard to get a sight picture since the sights sit so low, and you can’t add an optic to the top charger. I ordered the side charger upper for mine direct form MPA - should be here any day. Can’t wait.

Care to share your thoughts and experiences since you purchased one of these. I've been on the fence for forever! I always forget about it until the ad pops up again and I start reaching for my credit card...lol. so yeah please share if you don't mind.

So you can shoot the gun with the pretend suppressor aka 'faux silencer on??? Or do you need to take it off in order to fire the gun???

0 votes
2 votes

You can fire the gun either way, the fake suppressor is just a muzzle extender. Doesn't reduce sound, flash, recoil, etc (not by any real amount). It is for looks but the firearm can be used with or without the fake suppressor. You could always replace it with a real suppressor, a true flash hider, a compensator, nothing...whatever, if that is what you preferred. Just make sure the correct thread pattern and bore size (for example, don't put a .223 muzzle device on a 9mm).

Yes

Does it come how you see it in the picture is my question?

It will come with a pretend suppressor aka 'faux silencer' (which is removable), like Bleh mentioned. That is for looks only though, won't provide any sound suppression but meant to look cool....also might also stop you from shooting your hand by accident as it adds several inches beyond the barrel ;)

For example, see this unboxing video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqRwBxvxOIY...

Is that a silencer on this firearm if so does it come with the firearm?

No. If anything, it has a faux silencer.

Ok this may be a dumb question however I am not familiar with this platform other than what I see. Does anyone know if there's a way to add an optic to a top cocking firearm? I am a bit embarrassed to ask this as it may be one of those "duh" questions... Lol
Please go easy on me if it is. Lol. I really want one of these as the price is unreal but my eyes are not as good as they used to be and I prefer optics on my firearms. Thanks!

Ok after a quick search I've found that it is possible to add optics.

Damn here I am again 5 years later still sitting here wishing this was the side cocking pistol instead of the top cocking version. I'd prefer the side cocking one so that it is much easier to add an optic like a red dot. However as the price keeps dropping on these I may just get one to have as a fun range day gun or hell, use it as my truck gun. I mean who's gonna mess with you when they flash a gun at you and you wave hello with this in your hand.. haha
So yeah probably gonna get one.

Picked one up from RK last week. $506.78 out the door after taxes and the background check. Ran through a box of Remington green and whites just fine but the magazine was a real pain in the thumb during loading after about 17 rounds. Never got more than 22 in there but I also didnt use a loader. Overall i wish i had bought this years ago and saved a hundred bucks, not an EDC piece for sure but it scores very high on the tacticool scales and with a light and lazer makes a fine bed side party starter.

If you can find a sten magazine loader it makes loading the mags 100% easier. I found one in the random parts box at my local gun store and snapped it up.

The mags get easier over time. IMO this really comes into its own as an SBR with side charging kit and side folder.

I just looked at one of these tonight at RK...about $70 cheaper

I hear this thing is super easy to bump fire by just pulling the faux suppessor (sounds ify hand might slip and ya blow off a few fingers) while floating your finger in the trigger housing

I don't need this. But I kinda want it.

I wish this was a side cocking model... id buy one if so. not a fan of the top cocking models

Anyone know if the barrel is to the tip of that "faux" suppressor, or once you remove that fake crap is it flush with the firearm itself. Like some use those fake cans to hide a longer barrel, does this?

0 votes

It’s about two inches outside of the receiver

Sweaty Ben in this video shows it does not mask a longer barrel but just some threading. I'll be rocking one of these after I get my 9mm can out of jail.

Does anyone know if you can get a brace for this?

You can get a folding buffer tube attachment from masterpiece. I believe it’s about $50. Pretty high quality. No play at all folded or unfolded.

The sell a different model now that comes with a brace and a couple other additions called the MPA35DMG.

If you're thinking about buying this thing? Think it over a good bit. The mags are TAPCO made, TAPCO a division of Remington has been shut down. So basically the mags for this thing could get pretty scarce quickly. Just a friendly FYI.

they also have grips available to take glock mags. lots of aftermarket support, braces and stocks available as well

I believe these take sten mags as well which are plentiful. These do take a brace fun range toy.

The one I’ve got doesn’t. The polymer tapco mags work, but that’s pretty much it.

I own one. Mine jams several times per mag depending on the ammo. Lost my trigger boot and it punishes my finger after a few rounds. Surprisingly accurate though.
