Designed by Military Armament Corporation in Knoxville, TN, and built by Tisas to our exacting standards, the MAC 1911-9 Double Stack is here! This pistol is mission-ready with a factory RMR pattern optic cut on the slide and an M1913 light rail on the frame. The polymer grip module features a grippy texture, 25 LPI checkering on the front and rear, and an aluminum removable magazine well. Chambered in 9MM, it boasts a 4.25" bull barrel with a QPQ Tennifer finish and an 11º target crown, ensuring minimal recoil and maximum accuracy. The MAC Double Stack Series pistols come standard with two magazines, a cleaning kit, a bushing wrench, a trigger lock, and an instruction manual.

Very satisfied with this so far. No major issues. The fiberoptic was loose and fell out but no biggie. Otherwise around 200 rounds with no misfires, jams or stovepipes. Seems very solid overall. Breaks at 4.5 on my scale which I may try to lower but don't have too. It does come with a RMR plate that is not part of the newer AOS system. Haven't decided to install it yet though. If you want to get your feet wet with 2011, this is a solid choice. Nothing better at this price.

These are the Gen 1 without the AOS plates but I couldn't find any info on this version.
