It's a direct blowback design like any other AR9 platform, I imagine it's not the smooth recoil impulse like the legendary MP5. The Mp5 mags don't have lrbho function, you'll have to use MAC mags for that feature. I read that they were selling for arround 500 over the holidays.
It does take mp5 mags I have one they r fun guns. Slap a foldable brace on there a flashlight n red dot and u got a nice cqw i use mine for bedside night time gun
MAC is known for cloning other good arms. What is this a clone of? CZ Scorpion? Do I need this along with my MAC5k?
Of course you need this! Lol. We all need more guns. This isn't really much of a clone as it is its own platform. It has similar features to an MP5, like the magazine compatibility and AR type controls. This is also a blowback operating system vs roller delayed on the MP5. The other thing noted is this has the last round bolt hold open feature.
If they ran Scorpion mags I'd bet a lot more people would buy these. The Venn diagram of people willing to pay the per mag price of (reliable) mp5 style while also buying a $500 PCC isn't probably what MAC assumed it would be.
Glock mags would work too but look dumb...not like that should matter but kinda does ;)
