You can get this watch between $5-6 at Temu. Have one and glass cracked after one drop.

I'm a complete and total watch nerd (I have around $20k in watches). Don't buy this watch for a variety of reasons:
1) 30m water resistance seems like a lot, but is really quite pitiful. If you're looking for a duty watch, go with a minimum of 100m and preferably 200m.
2) You can get a g-shock, which are great, durable watches with a ton of street cred for around $100 or less. Even less used. That also has military usage, unlike this Chinese garbage. If you want something that is nice, useful, and duty-rated, look at the Master of G series (my Mudmaster is my go-to end of the world watch) for $300-700.
3) If you're dead set on getting a cheap, analog, quartz watch, then go with a Timex or Casio for god's sake. For the money, the really can't be beat. You can get a fairly durable one for like $30.
4) It's cheap chineseium. You don't need to spend $5k on a watch to get something amazing, but you should probably spend more than $10 if using it for longer than a few days is a priority.
5) MINERAL GLASS - The absolute, lowest end of the spectrum on watch glass. Yes, a lot of g-shocks use this too, but they're protected by the bezel. This one is not. Glass will break even with light use. If you're new to watches, look for acrylic (which is surprisingly durable - my everyday is a Speedy with an acrylic glass) or, for most people's use case, sapphire.
Long story short: I wouldn't even buy this watch for someone I didn't like.

I'm pretty sure anyone who's willing to spend $300 - $700, or even $100 for a watch wouldn't even be looking at a $10 watch, so I don't find your review very useful in this context. How about reviewing it as compared to other $10 watches rather than comparing it to watches that someone who's thinking about buying a $10 watch can't afford?

I've had the $100 to $140 range Timex and Casio offerings. Maybe they were decent watches at one time, but the ones I've had recently were crap. Definitely not worth the money. I've also had G-shock watches in the past and they're great, no doubt about it...but $300 to $700 for a watch? That'll buy a whole lot of ammo, or training, or even one or two decent ARs.

But I digress. Because I wasn't happy with the $100 price range watches not lasting and being junk, I decided I could buy 10 $10 watches instead and change them when I change my underwear.

So I bought one of these Lenqin watches at that price. I've been wearing it every day for going on a year now. I do take it off if in the shower or if I'm going to be submerging my hands in liquid, but I wear it when I'm working constantly. I'm a DIYer. I've built a shed, poured concrete, done yard work, rebuilt the brakes on my truck and just general work around the house with this watch on and it has performed virtually flawlessly.

It keeps perfect time, the band has held up and even as much as I've abused it, I haven't even scratched the crystal, let alone broken it.

My only complaints are that the "glow in the dark" hands don't glow brightly enough...your eyes have to really be adjusted to the dark to see them, and one of the band pins broke (not the band, the pin that holds it to the watch) and I had to replace it, which cost me about 50 cents.

So here's my assessment: Is it a Casio G-shock? A Timex Expedition? A citizen automatic? No. If that's what you want, that's what you should get because this is not that. But if you're looking for a dirt cheap watch that will last you at least a year, functions well and keeps perfect time...this is the watch for you.

Haha. I'm not a watch nerd with your expertise but I am a bit of a snob. I couldn't agree more with your advice, and add that I also like some Swiss or Victorinox, especially if I can find a cool used one. I think I've spent more on watches as gifts for others than myself, so there's that.......
