Its a shotgun, so its a smooth bore. You're not going to shoot 45LC out of a smooth bore. If it were rifled, it wouldn't be a shotgun. It also would not shoot 410 "shot" very well at all. The pattern would be terrible.

Rifled shotgun slug barrels are not uncommon. It would be kinda cool if they offered an easily interchangeable one for this shotgun. One would probably go a long way toward stabilizing a 45LC round. Shooting rifled slugs from the smooth bore barrel would be a viable option if you didn't want to shoot shot shells. Yeah, shot shells don't pattern well out of a rifled barrel.

Me too. It seems like it would, or should. I don't know what distance you'd get out of it before the projectile started tumbling.

If you are going to make it shoot 410, why not also shoot 45LC? That would be a clever idea; I wonder why no company has done that...
