Ahh, I've got a list titled "Things I might need from Amazon" & use that to bring it up to $35. I don't need no stinkin prime.
I have a friend order things for me using prime. Half the time the shipping takes 5 days, but it is free.
My understanding about the Prime "trial" now is that it's a trial until you use it, at which point you're agreeing to subscribe to it. I may be wrong, just check the fine print yourself.
Amazon will auto-charge for a full year ($99) on day 31, but I'm sure it's free for the first 30 days regardless of use. I was just looking at my Prime account yesterday and I saw that you can cancel the service in the first 3 days after being charged provided you did not use the services in those 3 days.
Paid $75 a little over a year ago... dammit.
