Honestly, I would hope so, as someone forgetting the combo or them taking it to the grave (thus their family needing access) is far more likely than someone who has direct access to your safe, all the time in the world to take photos of name plates, perhaps proof of purchases, etc then the time to contact / con Liberty, just so they can again covertly access your safe. Especially when they probably know a dozen extra 'marks' with easier to access guns.
But if you are concerned about that (perhaps you have a live in family member with questionable morals), you could grind off the serial number then no one, even the manufacturer, could match the safe to any record..
Are they still keeping a record of the master code for each safe and just sharing it with anyone that can convince them to share it?
These are fine, I think for the money had a few of them. These are classified as residential containers with 14 gauge sheeting if I’m correct. I chose these over the others because they are made in the USA. I have real safes. For a true safe, you probably have to be in the upper 3K range.
