31 reviews and 24 of them are from people who received the item free for their review. Hard Pass
I agree with you. If an item is showing mostly "vine program" reviews, It's an automatic no for me as well. Although I love Amazon for buying things this program has all but ruined the reputation around fair and honest customer reviews.
Right,
I f*cking hate that crap. It makes it even worse for me because about 10-11+ years ago, before Amazon had this "vine program" a seller sent me a rail for an AR to test out and in exchange for an HONEST review, not these paid professional reviewers who received thousands of dollars in products but a regular old opinion and honest experience. Well Amazon caught wind and has restricted my account since. I am not allowed to leave reviews since then. I've made several inquiries over the years asking for my review rights to be restored and it has been nothing but crickets from customer service! Not a single email or call back to me.... the shitty thing is that Amazon now allows for people to receive stuff for free in exchange for these paid reviews. Lame!
Don't worry. I'm on vine. I rarely find things I'm actually interested in and constantly see new vine reviews if things I am interested in. It's annoying.
Personally, I usually only look at the not-5-star reviews for that very reason

this thing looks very Storm Trooper
