It is my professional opinion that anything, especially magazines colored orange are "inert" or "for training" purposes. I feel that this could at some point cause a dangerous situation leading up to a deadly accident. Just like having an orange weapon, these just are not a good idea. 99.9 percent of us wouldn't have an issue with these however you know damn good and well some moron would mistake a full orange mag of ammo as blanks or inert and end up killing someone or themselves. We all grew up with the idea that safety orange meant safe. So yeah while the price is right, the decision must be made whether or not saving a few bucks is worth it.... I realize this idea is a bit out there but safety first!
What if you needed to pick up your mag during a black light rave? I bet you'll be wanting florescent orange mags then!
Your argument is akin to saying guns shouldn’t be legal because there’s a hypothetical chance someone may mis-use them. If someone can’t pick up a mag and determine whether the bullets contained within are “real,” they shouldn’t pick up the gun.
It’s a colored magazine (as are their green, purple, red, etc. mags). Much easier to see in low light than black.
Clear or black colored for me.
