If Kriss sold standalone uppers, this MIGHT (big stretch) make sense to someone wanting to get into vectors not wants a 22LR right now.

That said, they no longer sell standalone evers and I have no idea what the hell they're thinking. I say that as somebody who loves the platform and has two vectors.

Yeah for real. Like 6 months ago, ammo seek had these for $500 flat with the larger mags. People are dumb.
