I see Kimber has decided to follow the fad of slide cutouts and gold barrels. Kind of sad to see what they've stooped to in order to sell guns. Everyone wants to be Salient Arms, I guess.
This gun looks fucking sexy. Damn. I'm not much for gold but the way they did this is nice.

Actually Kimber is known for making barely entry level garbage now in the gun world. They made SEMI-quality guns 15 years ago or so. Since then their quality control is that of a teenager on his phone
Every one of these Micro 9's shoot brass all over the place, especially back towards the user and against the slide. I had a Nightfall for a very short time and after 200 rounds the black slide was peppered with chips from brass hits. No more Kimber for me.
