Works for me. $34.99 + tax. Maybe this is one of those deals that's for Prime members?
I'm on a cheap knife binge, and I picked one of these up. I got it at the $42.58 price, ordering it on July 9. I just received it yesterday (July 18) and it's a great knife for the money -- a real value. The Sandvik blade came razor-sharp. The first thing I did was give it the informal "arm hair shave test" (AHST). With very little effort, and almost no resistance, it shaved a patch of my arm clean.
The open-assist isn't that great, but that may well be because it's brand new. It does not have a flipper, which I prefer if you're going to have an open-assist knife. Sandvik -- literally a razor steel -- takes a wicked edge, but it's not that durable compared to a number of others that hold up better, but for $42 it's hard to complain.
Kershaw, SOG, and others are really pumping some very nice value products out these days. I'd almost rather get 10 of each than a single CRK or MT. I'm loving my ZT 0560's, but afraid to post a Slick "deal" on a $200 knife ;-)

Price is great for a great knife. About as nice as I'd want to go for an edc that could get lost and will get abused. It's on the big side but it is light for it's size.

Yea, after a few refreshes the correct price was showing up. I must have been to that page in the recent past and the old price was probably cached.
I managed to get one (in stock, shipping today), on my PRIME account (free 2-day air shipping) for the $42 price. I've really been on the hunt for an S35VN blade, but this will certainly make a fine substitute until I can convince myself that it's worth spending >$300 on a US-made S35VN.

Nice find Mel, very tempted.
I was lucky to pick up two of these knives for $70 (one for me and one for a relative). I've been really happy and it replaced a Coldsteel American Lawman as an EDC. It is very light, has a great assisted open, and holds a blade well. The shape of the blade is excellent and draws in what you are cutting. I'm not a fan of serrated edges, so this is perfect. I'm now a Kershaw fan.
