- Simplicity
Its design is not just unique, it’s practical. Fine motor skills are greatly diminished in high-stress situations. The PR57 focuses on a minimalistic approach that reduces room for error.
- Lightweight
The PR57’s innovative rotary barrel design sets it apart not only in appearance, but by dramatically reducing it’s overall weight. This pistol is nearly 40% lighter than the next lightest 5.7mm pistol on the market.
- Magazine-less
The top-loading design makes the frame profile slim and compact. 20 rounds fit into the grip of the gun which can be manually inserted one at a time, or by using two of the provided 10-round stripper clips for a quick speed load.

I actually own one of these fantastic pistols. The grip doesn't have super grit sandpaper, and I guarantee your hands will not be hurting after a few hundred rounds. The round slide has no problem mounting an optic with a mounting plate. The gun is very easy to handle and shoot, I'm not even sure what you're looking at when you made that determination. Maybe you mistook this for a 9mm or haven't experienced firing 5.7x28?
If the barrel was threaded, I'd be very tempted. I love shooting my 5.7 suppressed with subsonic ammo. Yes, it hits like a heavy 22LR, but it's as reliable as a centerfire.

Damn what a weird and ugly ass configuration. The slide in this pistol is just weird.. I don't know what else to call it other than weird and ugly... Lol. The barrel and slide being round as it is has to be even worse when you try and add an optic. To top that off the grip on this gun just doesn't look like it's easy to handle and shoot. The super grit sandpaper type grip can't be easy on the hands after a few hundred rounds at the range. I appreciate manufacturers trying to come up with new designs and or trying to improve existing designs however I don't think this pistol is a winner. The couple keltec guns I've shot were not something I can get behind and trust my life too. They didn't feel natural to hold. You may have your own opinion and experience but as a professional firearms instructor, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
