While this is much more of a gun cabinet vs a gun "safe", at $150, it's a pretty good deal if you just need something to lock up your guns in. Would I trust it in a house fire? Absolutely not, would I trust it to keep professional thieves out? Absolutely not. Would it be a good cabinet to keep your kids out harms way? Yes! Would it be solid enough to keep the average crook out of your guns and ammo? Yes, but you would need to bolt it to the wall and or floor. While I don't own this exact model but I do own one of the same brand cabinets and it's done it's job for many years now, I basically use it to store my ammunition, magazines, extra parts and some unfinished projects. If your in the market for a cabinet to store your guns and ammo then I could suggest you consider this one. The 10-15 capacity is a bit High unless your using all pistols. I'd say it's more like 5-6 rifles and 4 or 5 pistols and about 400-500 rounds of ammo.
