I have this. While it's not a true safe, it's a heavy duty locker. Don't think you're keeping out good burglars, but against a smash and grab, it'll work. I got it to keep kids away from the arsenal. It works great for that.
Also interested to know how long you’ve had it. Need something like this for the same reason.
Thanks for the info. I was looking to create space in my safes but didn't want to buy another real safe for my mags and such. How long have you had it because several reviewers are saying the keypad fails (not battery) within a few months, Thanks again.
If the pad fails just use the key id assume.. I personally wish it was a dial lock with a key
I agree. A dial lock with a key would be ideal. Anyone who has access to the key can open this. I also agree with what this Amazon reviewer said. "If you don’t mind having this as a key-operated lockbox for your gun, this product would probably be fine. But if you wanted the security of a keypad (with a key as a back up option), keep looking. This isn’t it."
