Negative. The barrel is not threaded.And yes it appears the price went up $20 to $519.99. Not sure what happened there with the price. Must have been an error on the member who posted this. It IS NOT a dealer posted deal and therefore can't really be held over the head of PSA in my opinion.
Ordered mine on Monday. Shipped Wednesday and received it at FFL Friday. Excited to get it. So far all the fit and finish looks good. Action is very smooth and positive. Took it to the range and fired 50 rounds of 38spl. Completely solid and flawless. Very happy with this deal and rebate. As a side note and does not matter to me, it is stamped "Made in Brazil" FWIW.
It's available as of right now. Taurus owns Heritage and Rossi and the Heritage guns are made in Georgia. Never owned or shot one but there is a $50 rebate on this gun right now.
Any of the gun.deals community actually own one of these? I'm considering buying one. I'm interested in the quality and reliability
Seems a solid deal, love the old school lever action.
I am curious as well. I want to know how it handles 38 specials. So far, the only one I have not had an issue with is the 1854. Runs any 38 special. The Rossi, Winchester and Henrys I had barely run 38 specials.
