H&K and Walther should do a better job of making (or forcing the 3rd party producer) to market their 22LR branded / licensed firearms as not produced by them. I've had a H&K 22LR and currently have a Walther, however while decent plinkers for what they are, what they aren't is the same quality as their namesake. I would say the Walther is priced more fairly for what it is (or isn't).
Also for $500 I'd really hope everything would be a direct clone of the full sized caliber version, so it could be used as a direct training analog, which I am not sure is the case here. For example, I believe the Beretta ARX160 vs Beretta ARX100 is damn near indistinguishable other than caliber (and both produced by Beretta...if I'm not mistaken).

Don't let the name fool you! This is NOT an HK manufactured rifle. They are made by UMAREX, makers of air guns, paint ball guns and knock off . 22 firearms. These are simply licensed products. It's not right that the seller doesn't disclose this fact in their description. May not be a bad . 22 firearm, I just believe in transparency.
