Hi Livinitup1976,
We don't have special discount programs or anything that fancy. Our approach is to try and offer our best available pricing on all items we sell to every customer, every day. We don't do sales or email blasts three times a day like some places ;)
In fact, I don't know how these "deal" ads show up on Gun.Deals. I think users might post stuff they feel is a good deal? We aren't computer experts over here and do our best where we can. Thanks again for the friendly discussion. Please reach out if we can help at all.
Kindly,
Phil

You might consider offering this along with a Taurus Raging Bull in a special priced combo package. :)

Lol. Just don't store them near each other or you may have all sorts of "baby Glocks" running all over the place! If you add a Uberti Cattleman then your on your way to buying the farm! You could call the deal the "Buying the Farm deal"
...Ok....lol, I know ; )

Yes this site is member driven and 90% of the ads are posted by either members or gundeals staff. The other 10% are "dealers postings". It's a great site and I've bought almost every single gun I own in the past several years from deals here, which is alot. You can contact the site if you want to start listing your best offerings here. Don't know if there's much cost involved but might be worth asking for sure. Id love to see more dealers becoming part of the gundeals group.

Hi 4Liberty,
These were built by Glock as normal Gen5 model 45 pistols. A distributor sent a bunch to receive custom finishing and some were these Tacticow Twilight versions. Anyone could have a glitter gun and anyone could have a cow paint job, but this gun gives you both!
We've all had a laugh about the goofy finish but I have to tell you a surprisingly large number of people have bought them. We are down to just a few remaining units now and it will be udderly sad to see the last one mooove out the door.

I guess a deal is a deal for a Gen 5 Glock, but probably not a good choice to use on a steak out, or to beef up security.

Haha. Thanks for the laugh!

I just don't get why the market is being flooded with these outlandish, odd finishes? It seems the past year there are so many of these are all over online. I don't think Glock themselves is doing this but who is? Are they using all the "blems" Glock had in storage? Glock doesn't sell blems like PSA and others do, so it would make sense this is how they sell them. I don't know, anyone else have an opinion on this? I am respectfully curious and am in no way trying to sway anyone or make fun of anyone who chooses to buy this pistol. Everyone is entitled to their choice and taste for firearms. If you like it, by all means buy it!

Hey Livinitup1976,
Thanks for the comment! We are happy to try and address your questions. I continue to be perplexed by the vast number of "custom" pistols these days from various brands. You would be shocked how many are sold. We often hear people audibly gasp in horror, say they hate it, and immediately buy one.
Regarding these "Tacticow Twilight" Glock 45 models, they were originally sold by Glock to a wholesale Glock distributor who shipped a bunch to the company who applies these finishes. These cow Glocks were done by a company in Ohio called Glitter Gunz. I guess they weren't selling as fast as the distributor wanted, so they marked them down and we bought a bunch at the lowered pricing. Now I wish we had purchased more of them! All told, goofy paint and glitter job, but a really low price for a Gen5 Glock 45 model. As you said, everyone is entitled to their choice ;)

Thanks for the information! This has been a question I have had for quite some time. I truly appreciate you taking time to explain how these end up the way they do. I always appreciate dealers who watch their ads for questions and answers them. Makes me confident in buying from them.
Off topic a bit but do you guys offer 1st responder discounts?
