The G19 Gen 5 keeps the Glock accessory rail for attachments. The Glock 19 Gen 5 now includes Glock’s Marksman barrel; using traditional “lanes and grooves” rifling vs the polygonal style found on previous models. An ambidextrous slide stop is now standard for all Gen 5 models, as well as the improved nDLC finish on the slide. Glock now has taken the finger grooves off of the frame, reminiscent of the Glock Gen 1 and Gen 2 pistols.
